About

Dr. Kathryn Dielentheis joined the department as an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in August 2016.

Dr. Dielentheis completed her undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she graduated with a BA in Medical Microbiology and Immunology and an emphasis in Spanish. She then went to medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern-McGaw in Chicago, Illinois where she trained at both Prentice Women’s Hospital and John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County which provided a broad diversity of experiences during her training.

Dr. Dielentheis enjoys providing comprehensive care for women through obstetrics and gynecology. She is pleased to care for women throughout their life course and be with women and families during important life moments.

I went in for something not great and was very unexpected,however they all showed so much compassion for me and showed they cared. Even though I was there for something heartbreaking,the compassion and empathy they showed was so amazing.I will forever be thankful
She was very personable, nice and walked me through every moment of my procedure. I was very happy with her service.
Dr. Dielentheis was awesome! She was very respectful, took her time, had awesome bedside manner. I did not feel rushed, she kept asking what other questions I had to be sure I was getting the information I needed. Very reassuring & helped me feel comfortable.
Dr Deilenthies is amazing. She is so so so good at really listening to me and never makes me feel rushed or silly for my questions or concerns.

I chose to pay more for my health insurance plan simply so I could continue seeing Dr. Dielentheis. She is outstanding. She listens to my questions, provides intelligent answers and is always willing to help wherever she can. She is always delightfully pleasant and kind. I give her the highest recommendation possible. The only drawback was when I initially called scheduling to schedule the appointment, they said I couldn't get in until December. I sent a message to Dr. Dilentheis's office and they kindly provided me with four appointment options within a month. That was extremely helpful.
We received news that no one wants to hear. Dr. Dielentheis was very compassionate and explained everything we needed to know with next steps. She gave us all the time we needed and never rushed us out of the appointment. She is a wonderful doctor and I highly recommend her!

Dr dielenthies is like no other doctor I've worked with in the past. The last year of her care has been the best thing through my pregnancy and postpartum. I wish I would have met her sooner.

The Nurse that took care of me the first night of my stay, was exceptional!!! This was my first surgery ever and I was scared to say the least. I didn't know how I was going to recover, but I did great! She and other staff were great! But she went above and beyond! I'm a CNA of 20 yrs. She is a Super Star! Please I would like to nominate her she worked the overnight shift. Thank you for everything! Great place to come and get great care!!!
