Dr. Ann Rosenthal received her MD from John Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Rochester. She received her Rheumatology training at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her primary research interests are in calcium pyrophosphate deposition disease and osteoarthritis. Dr. Rosenthal is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology and has been the Chief of Rheumatology since July, 2012. She is also the Vice Chair for Faculty Development in the Department of Medicine and Medical Director of the Zablocki VA Translational Research Center. Dr. Rosenthal maintains an active clinical practice, is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and is a winner of several teaching awards.
