The realm of rheumatology can be complex and not easily understood. I hope to be able to explain these diseases and treatments to my patients and come up with processes which will help to improve their lives. I believe that establishing a strong patient-physician relationship is important in establishing trust and eventually treatment of these difficult diseases.

About
Richard Hariman MD is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Hariman graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at Loyola University of Chicago. Dr. Hariman joined MCW in 2009 and has served as the Medical Director of the Rheumatology Clinics since 2012, in addition to being the program evaluation committee chair for the MCW internal medicine residency. His interests include Rheumatoid Arthritis, inflammatory arthritis, spondyloarthropathies and postmenopausal osteoporosis.
